Details are what make a good party great but if you don’t have time for all those time-consuming Martha Stewart-esque projects, I have three ways to use fresh cranberries to up the cheer factor at your holiday gatherings.
Three Ways with Fresh Cranberries
Cranberry Ice Cubes
Drop 2-3 fresh cranberries in an ice cube tray. Fill the tray with water and freeze. They’ll add a festive burst of color to your holiday drinks.
Cranberry Place Cards
Dress your next meal with place cards (or buffet cards) that will welcome guests to the dinner table or the buffet. Fill small bowls or ramekins with cranberries. Nestle place cards or buffet cards inside.
Cranberry Cocktail Stirrers
Stir your holiday drinks in style with these colorful cocktail stirrers. Simply thread fresh cranberries onto a toothpick or a wooden skewer. Use to garnish or stir your favorite drinks!
If you’re a traditionalist and actually want to eat your cranberries, try my Cranberry Lime Compote. It’s a delicious substitute for standard cranberry sauce and also wonderful addition to a cheese board.
These are a few of my favorite ways to dress up my holiday table. What are your favorite holiday hacks that make your celebrations special?
