Place a damp paper towel in the bottom of a large  bowl. Choose a deep bowl with high sides.

1

Step

Place a small bowl in the big bowl, upside down. The paper towel will keep the small bowl in place.

2

Step

Hold an ear of corn firmly on the small bowl.  Start at the top of the corn cob and carefully cut straight down to remove the kernels.

3

Step

Rotate the ear of corn until all the kernels are removed. Be sure to hold the corn cob firmly while you cut.

4

Step

The kernels will fall neatly into the larger bowl instead of splattering all over your counter space.

5

Step

You can put your corn to delicious use in these recipes.
