Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon

Bacon-Wrapped Filet Mignon is not just the stuff of fancy restaurants with fancy maitre ds. You can make this stuff at home! I’m not joking. Pick up  a couple of pre-cut filets – they can be pricey but I promise they’re worth it for a special occasion.

TIPS:
Don’t be a serial flipper! The more you flip, the longer it’ll take to sear your steaks. Place them in the pan and LET. THEM. COOK. Use your tongs to gently lift steaks to see if they’re ready to flip.
If you use a thick-sliced bacon, add an additional minute or two of cooking time to make sure it’s cooked through.
