My first taco was a Taco Supreme from Taco Bell — ground beef (allegedly), sour cream, lettuce, tomato and shredded cheddar all tucked away in a crispy taco shell. Thankfully once I graduated from sixth grade, Taco Supremes lost their appeal and I learned there’s more to tacos — and Mexican food — than the pictures on the Taco Bell menu board.
Tacos are a great dinner time solution. Setting up a taco bar with a variety of fillings and toppings lets picky eaters fill their shells with all of the foods they love. A simple sauté of fresh vegetables, seafood or poultry and you can have a delicious taco dinner on the table in minutes.
